The Pekin Hospital League is looking for high school aged volunteers for their Teen Volunteer Program. The purpose of this program is to provide teens with hands on experience at both their hospital Gift Shop and their resale shop, Nearly Nu. This program will enable them to record Community Service Hours on the college resumes. The program will be open to all teen’s ages 14 thru 18 and will begin at the end of the 2019 school year.
Duties expected of the teens will include, but not limited to the following.
1. Pricing of merchandise at both retail locations.
2. Stocking and displaying merchandise.
3. Handling donations at our resale shop
4. Bagging merchandise for cashiers.
5. Any reasonable task - except cashiering.
