6th hour Adaptive PE students got a unique workout today by helping purchase items for the Dragon's Closet using grant money donated by the local Pekin WalMart.

Dragon Battalion earns highest honor! Honor Unit with Distinction- this puts them at the very top of the 1700 Army JROTC programs! Congratulations to Colonel Hallstrom, Sargent Blackburn, the Command and Staff- and Cadets who can proudly wear the Gold Star for 3 more years!
Army 3rd Brigade Inspection team, Tyrone Middleton and Melissa Moore inspected the full 172 strong Dragon Battalion and Drill and Color Guard. Briefings continued for the next 6 hours reviewing every aspect of the program, including briefs, interviews, and portfolios for the Cadre and the Cadets. This Triennial Review is crucial for our continued accreditation with the US Army Cadet Command.
