This morning, Student Council attended the Mid-Illini Student Council meeting at Spoon River College. Seniors Elizabeth Austin, Riley Cady and Riley Jones presented the accomplishments of this years council.
The group that toured sites on the Underground Railroad today learned so much! There is no part of American history that does not touch Tazewell County! Thank you to John Ackerman for acting as tour guide and to the others he secured to tell amazing stories that connect the past to the present. #FutureFocusDay
Lots to celebrate at last night's Board Mtg. We celebrated our 2025 Girls' Basketball Team. We swore in new members of our School Board; Manda Brown, Clarice Chick, Scott Ewing, and Steve Huey. And, we said goodbye to two Board Members; Quinn Barra(10 yrs) and Eric Hill(16 yrs)
Our last Future Focus Day of the year is today. Our Pathways Fair features Trades Apprenticeships, College and Service Recruiters. The Job Fair will have amazing opportunities for our students. Other students will visit local businesses, do community service, and many other educational experiences beyond the normal day.
