Tomorrow is Dragon Day for all incoming freshmen and transfer students
Dragon Day is our school orientation for registered freshmen and transfer students
- It will be held on Tuesday, August 20th from 7:50 - 11:50
- Freshmen should bring their Chromebook, class schedule and a writing utensil. Students may want to bring a water bottle.
- There is no breakfast or lunch served, but students will be provided a snack and a drink.
- Drop off for all students on Dragon Day is at the top of the hill at the canopy entrance anytime after 7:15
- Pick up for car riders will be in the circle drive by the pillar entrance
We can't wait to meet our new students!

Tomorrow is the last day for fully registered Freshmen students to pick up their Chromebooks. Students will be setting their passwords during this time. Protective cases will be sold for $25 cash during pickup as well. Follow the signs at the Canopy Entrance.
Fridays are for fun AND safety! The PCHS Crisis Team completed their annual training today and are ready for a great school year!
The Pekin tennis team is being brave in the humidity and learning the rules of the game! Everyone is doing awesome on our new courts!
Can you believe it's almost that time for picture day?! School picture day is happening on Friday, August 23 during PE, Health, Marching Band, JROTC, Driver's Ed, or if your student has none of those classes then they should visit the small gym during their advisory period! Check your mail for this flyer. It's their "fast pass" to skip the line in the gym. You do not need the flyer to have your picture taken!
Chromebook pick up for all FULLY REGISTERED students starts tomorrow in room G206. Please enter at the Principal's Office Doors. Students are encouraged to be there as they will be setting their password. There is an opportunity to purchase a case for the Chromebook for $25 payable by cash or check. Chromebooks should be picked up prior to Dragon Day.

Pekin FFA member Caylin Conrad has had a very successful summer showing her horse, goat, and chickens! Just to name a few awards: FFA Champion Female Bird, Champion Buck, and Best in Show Chicken. Hard work pays off!

Tomorrow (4 -7 PM) and Friday (8-11 AM) are the last days for paperwork drop-off and in person registration. Please note that the Stadium Drive entrance is still closed. You can enter from two entrances on Parkway Drive as noted on this map. Parking areas are also highlighted. Enter at the Principal's Office.
