AP Psych students visited Wilson and Jefferson Schools today! The "big" kids loved seeing the pictures drawn for them in the books they wrote. And, getting to see K - 6th grade teachers and students is an invaluable experience.
Zoology students got hands-on with squid dissections during our mollusks unit! Exploring their unique anatomy provided an up-close look at the adaptations that make these creatures such efficient marine predators. 🦑
Today we struck up the band! Good luck to Ashlyn Gilliam (Clarinet) and Ronan Weaver (Cello). They have qualified for the ILMEA State Band Performance! #dragonpride
Biology students conducted a gummy bear osmosis experiment to model how water moves in and out of cells! Over several days, they measured changes in size, mass, and condition after placing gummy bears in different solutions.

Pekin hosted the Mid-Illini Speech Tournament tonight and came out on top as CHAMPIONS! 🏆🎉 The S’Pekin Dragons took first place in NINE events! 🥇🗣️ Next up: Regionals on 2/8 at PCHS!
