Pekin Community High School District #303 - The Fire is Within

The Illinois Music Educators Association has annual auditions for acceptance into several all district ensembles. Students can audition for band, choir, orchestra, jazz band, and vocal jazz. Auditions are virtual and are due in early October. Festivals take place on designated weekends in November. Students that place high in their ensemble are eligible for All State. All State results are released in December and students have the highest honor to attend the State festival the last week of January. This festival showcases the top student performers from around the state of Illinois in their respective ensembles.
