Chorale: This elective is available to all PCHS students of various singing levels and abilities. Chorale is a great music ensemble for students who have not had experience in an organized choir or for students who may not be selected for Concert Choir or Nova Singers. The Chorale’s annual activities involve a concert performance every nine weeks. This includes the Fall Fine Arts Concert, Vespers, the Spring Choir Concert, and the Finale Concert. All concert performances are required as a member of this choir. The opportunity to audition for extracurricular ensembles such as the Noteables are available to students in Chorale.

Nova Singers: Nova Singers is an ensemble that focuses on music for soprano and alto singers. This music ensemble is available to sophomore through senior sopranos and altos who have experience singing in a choir and are interested in learning more about singing. The Nova Singers' annual activities involve a concert performance every nine weeks. This includes the Fall Fine Arts Concert, Vespers, the Spring Choral Concert, and the Finale Concert. All concert performances are required as a member of this choir. The opportunity to audition for extracurricular ensembles such as the Noteables are available to students in Nova Singers.

Concert Choir: Members of the PCHS Concert Choir are students who have had previous experience in a choral ensemble. This choir is an advanced music ensemble for students who are interested in a challenging and rewarding music experience. Selection to the group is based on individual skill and/or the performance level of the student at the discretion of the director. The Concert Choir’s annual activities involve a concert performance every nine weeks. This includes the Fall Fine Arts Concert, Vespers, the Spring Choral Concert, and the Finale Concert, as well as extra performance opportunities such as Mid-Illini Choral events and singing events through the community. The opportunity to audition for extracurricular ensembles such as the Minor Details Chamber Singers and Noteables are available to students in Concert Choir.
