Today, we awarded the 14th annual Master Dragon award to English teacher, Jess Norris. Students were asked to nominate a teacher or staff member who is dedicated, motivated, professional, and exhibits school spirit. Miss Norris exemplifies dedication, motivation, professionalism, and school spirit in everything she does, making her a truly deserving recipient of the Master Dragon award. #dragonpride

Last week, Pekin FFA had their annual end of year banquet. They installed the new officer team, the old officer team retired, awards were given out, and special recognition was given to their supporters/sponsors. Along with many other incredible accomplishments! #PekinFFA

Faculty and staff appreciation week is rolling along! Today was neon day. Mr. Budde and Mrs. Litherland understood the assignment! Tomorrow is cozy day!

2D Art students are diving into paper quilling this week—transforming simple strips of paper into intricate shapes and forms. By carefully arranging and layering their designs, they add color, and depth to their drawings in a creative, hands-on way that brings their work to life.

Be sure to come out and support our Tennis Seniors tonight, as they take on East Peoria on Senior Night!

Last week, the Animal Science class had the opportunity to tour Raber's Packing Co. in West Peoria. It was a terrific lab to end the animal/meat processing unit on! #Teach Ag

Independent art students and assistance are painting another mural downtown on their free time using their skills from the classroom in the community

Class of 2030: Freshman Orientation is May 19th & 20th! You will receive information on how to register for school, PCHS policies, and meet some new classmates. Make sure you also check out the activities fair at the end of orientation!

Art students tried their hand at Raku firing in a microwave today! Clay was heated to the point that it was glowing red hot and then set on fire to create a reduction firing to get cool rainbow effects.
