February is Career and Technical Education Month. Pekin High School has 70 courses to choose from in CTE. In this article from Business Insider, more than half do not require more than a H.S. diploma, almost all of which we offer some degree of orientation. The ones that require an Associates Degree or certificate program, we offer some of that credit right here in the high school classes, certified through ICC or the State. The median salary for all these jobs is at least $60,000.00 based on the latest data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
