Pekin Community High School is very proud of its past and would like the chance to celebrate those who have come before and recognize the great alumni who have gone on to make significant contributions to the world after their time spent at PCHS. We believe these people serve as role models to inspire current and future generations of students. In this spirit, we are reaching out to you hoping that some of you would have the desire to nominate a fellow classmate or PCHS alum who you know who has gone on to do wonderful/extraordinary things. The attached nomination form needs to be filled out a returned to Dr. Danielle Owens by December 15, 2019 to be considered for this year's selection process. Anyone nominated must meet the following criteria: * Graduated from PCHS or attended for at least 2 years. * Is at least 30 years of age at the time of nomination. * Is not a current employee or Board Member of PCHS. * Demonstrates a high level of achievement in his/her field and makes significant contributions to that field. We hope to recognize our Distinguished Alum(ni) at our Homecoming Festivities typically held during the first week of October. We just recognized our first class of Distinguished Alumni and are excited to continue celebrating our past graduates as a critical part of continuing to grow the Pekin pride for Pekin Community High School and our community. The coaches and representatives of the PCHS Volleyball Team are honored at the Board Meeting for their work on behalf of Volley for the Cure for the past 11 years! PCHS is #1 in the state for the amount raised for the Susan G. Koman Foundation!!! #dragonpride

!!!!!Fan Bus Information!!!! 2019 Fan Bus to Thornton on November 2, 2019. The Cost to ride the bus is $10. This includes the price of the ticket into the game. The fan bus will leave PCHS at approximately 10:30am and arrive back at approximately 7:30pm. Students riding the fan bus must have their school ID. Attention Seniors! We are hosting a college visit to Illinois Central College on Thursday, November 14th. We will be visiting both the East Peoria & the Peoria campuses. The cost of the trip is $8 for lunch. Stop in the Counseling Office today to pick up an application! ***Applications are due no later than November 7th.
