FLYING THE P! Although not a school employee, I would like to give recognition to the PCHS Booster Club. This dedicated group of parent volunteers work tirelessly to support our Student Athletes. Sara Lindahl, the concession lead, orders and coordinates deliveries from multiple companies to multiple locations and ensures the stands are stocked and run smoothly. VP Jamie Cates, makes and maintains the ever changing sign up genius for every home game in every sport along with tracking parent and student volunteers to ensure they get credit should they apply for a Booster Club scholarship. Speaking of scholarship, did you know in the past 2 years alone, the Booster Club has given over $50,000 in scholarships to PCHS athletes, and as of this year are expanding to include trade schools! Not only do they provide funds for senior night, team meals and banquets, uniforms and equipment, they also support other programs here at PCHS. They utilize culinary, who make taco meat and various baked goods for the concession stands, they work with LifeSkills classes, giving the students additional opportunity to practice grocery shopping and to practice job skills, stocking, organizing and checking dates on products, and most recently have partnered with Dragon Media on new sponsorship banners. More often than not, you can find this small group of parents on campus 7 days a week, along with being out in the community working with local businesses to support PCHS and ensure our dragon athletes have great seasons each and every year. PCHS is lucky to have them in our corner, going above and beyond for our school and our students. GO DRAGONS!!!
