Just a reminder: Wearing masks is mandatory for every student/staff member/parent/visitor to Pekin Community High School based on Governor Pritzker’s mask mandate issued on August 4, 2021. Wearing masks on buses and driver’s ed cars is also mandatory. Masks should cover the student's nose and mouth.

Just a reminder: Dragon starts tomorrow for all freshmen! Students can be dropped off starting at 7:15. Bus riders should report to their bus stops. Students do not need to bring anything with them. It's also picture day! We can't wait to meet our new Freshmen.

The world renowned and legendary "Dragon Cards" are now available. Please see your favorite fall sport athlete to purchase one ($20 each). All proceeds from the cards benefit the Dragon Athletic Booster Club which supports all 21 athletic programs at PCHS. #DragonPride

General Information & Safety Reminders All PCHS students need to... Wear a mask while in the school building and when riding on the bus. Maintain social distancing (3 feet) as much as possible. Frequently wash their hands. Bring a water bottle. (Refill stations will be available). Stay home when they are ill. Be prepared to be temperature screened upon entry. #dragonpride

Freshmen Photos August 17 during Dragon Day Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Photos August 20th Commonly asked picture day questions: 1. Does it cost money? No, it's free to take your picture. It costs money to order copies of your picture. 2. I forgot it's picture day, can I do retakes? Yes you can. However, we recommend to take your picture today just in case you forget about retakes on October 7. 3. When do I get my picture taken? You will get your picture taken during your PE, JROTC, Dance, Band, or Health classes. If you are not enrolled in any of those classes, come see us during your advisory period! 4. What happens if I forgot my order form? No big deal! Still get your picture taken and you can order online at hrimaging.com later. Or you can turn in your form in the BFO after August 20th. 5. My freshman missed the station at Dragon Day or did not come to Dragon Day, what do I do? Your freshman can take their photo on August 20th. 6. I have a different question, what do I do?
