
Art students are learning to process wool to be used for future art projects. Earlier this year we used wool to felt small creatures. Today we are cleaning and carding wool that will be dyed next week.

Congratulations to our very own Raegan Caldwell who was awarded the Best Buddies Chapter President of the Year for the State of Illinois! We are so proud of the work she does for our PCHS Best Buddies and for representing our school!

PCHS will hold the Graduation Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2024 tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Memorial Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
Please read the following reminders of protocols for an outdoor ceremony:
There is no limit to the amount of spectators attending the ceremony.
Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and all spectators must enter through the Red Bud or Arena Parking entrances (visitors side of stadium.) The Arena parking lot and additional park lots are available for parking. (The Holman Center parking lot is reserved for faculty.)
Stadium Drive will be closed @ Court Street and all traffic should enter through Stadium & Parkway or through Mineral Springs Park.
Red Bud Drive will be closed for Handicap parking. Cars should enter from the park; you must have a handicap sticker/placard to access this lot.
Graduates, band members, and choir members need to enter through the home side of the stadium. Graduates should be lined up behind the home side of the stadium no later than 6:30 p.m.

PCHS Dragons supported "Tradeswomen take over Springfield" today at the Capitol. They got to network with women in industry and learn about the endless opportunities for them in the trades. They even found former Dragons to help them on their way! #ilcte #DragonPride







New STUCO officers were sworn into office today, and the seniors were bid a sad farewell. We will miss their hard work and leadership and cannot wait to see the greta things they will continue to do!



PCHS alum and union bricklayer Madison Yeaman ran into current Dragon students who were at the "Tradeswomen Take Over Springfield" event where they were learning about the opportunities around the state for women in the building and construction trades. #DragonPride

Today the Advanced Animal Science had their final lab regarding large animal handling and safety. For the lab, they saddled up several horses and completed a trail ride!
