We are very excited to announce this week's winners of the "Flying the P" award! These 8 students were selected to be apart of the cadaver program that accepts 27 students from a pool of 8 different local schools. These students will get the opportunity to learn from doctors, medical students, and other teachers while studying human anatomy on human cadavers Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings throughout all of second semester. Please help us in congratulating these students!

Dilon Allen is also doing an internship at Morton Industries. Thank you to Morton Industries for taking two students and giving them a wide range of shop experiences! Dilon is using the robotic welders.
Austin Mettam is one of our interns at Morton Industries. They manufacture using all types of tubular metal. Austin has interned this year and has tried out all kinds of machines, but likes the tube benders best. Here he is operating the band saw.

The S'Pekin Dragons competed this past weekend at the Downers Grove Speech Tournament (the largest and most difficult tournament we attend all year). Events had anywhere from 75 to 100 entries. Pekin did not place as a team, but we did have five entries place into the semi finals (top 20 in their event!) and one place in the final round (top 6 in their event!!!). The results were:
- Madison Rudloff (junior) = 5th place in Original Comedy!!!

Semi finalist in Dramatic Interp (placing 3rd in the semi, one rank away from making the final round!)
