The government students participated in the 37th Legislative Session today. There were a number of tough votes and two executive vetoes. The students did a great job!!

PCHS Art students had a blast touching fish, climbing thru tunnels, and admiring mosaics at the City Museum in St Louis today.
Survey of FACS students choose a project in an area of interest in the Family and Consumer Sciences curriculum. These students chose to create a diorama and floor plan for Interior Design.
Art students spent the morning visiting priceless works of art at the St Louis Art Museum.

AP European history students took part in a summative discussion to wrap up the European Enlightenment era of the 17th & 18th centuries. Students researched an individual and discussed it in small groups today in class. #DragonPride #APEURO

We hope to recognize our Distinguished Alum(ni) at one of our home football games in the early fall. We are excited to continue celebrating our past graduates as a critical part of continuing to grow the Pekin pride for Pekin Community High School and our community.

🌟 Field Trip Fun! 🌟
Mrs. Damm’s class had an amazing day exploring so many exciting topics! We learned all about space and astronauts, watched a great movie about the importance of spending time in nature, and even became investigators while learning about the Titanic at the Peoria Riverfront Museum.
One of our favorite parts of the day was checking out the incredible Wall of Music Records—the kids loved seeing all the albums and artwork and talking about their favorites! 🎶💿
