We are excited to announce this week's winners of the "Flying the P" award! This week we will be honoring both a group and an individual! First up are the JROTC cadets! On December 3rd, the PCHS Army JROTC Dragon Battalion participated in a Joint Program Assessment as part of the U.S. Army Cadet Command at Ft. Knox, KY. The U.S Army 3rd Brigade Inspection team inspected 172 Cadets from the Dragon Battalion in full Dress uniform and also their Drill and Color Guard teams. In addition, briefings took place reviewing every aspect of the program including: interviews of Cadets and their goals, community service projects, and improvement projects within the Battalion. We are excited to announce the Dragon Battalion Cadets received an overall score of 98.5% and gained the Gold Star which recognizes the school and the JROTC program as an Honor Unit Distinction. Next up is senior wrestler Ryan Haynes! Last weekend Ryan Haynes achieved his 100th varsity win! Ryan is a four year varsity wrestler, a two year captain, a state qualifier, and has earned over 30 wins each wrestling season! Please help us in congratulating all of these students and their amazing accomplishments! #dragonpride
