We are excited to announce this week's winners of the "Flying the P" award! This week we will be honoring the Glassworks students from 1st semester. These students have designed and painted 3 Free Little Libraries that have been installed in 3 different neighborhoods in our community that include The Pekin YWCA, The Salvation Army. and The Pekin Housing Authority Office. On Tuesday of this week, the Pekin Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon cutting ceremony recognizing the collaborative efforts of several local service organizations for providing time, money and talents to support reading by placing books in the hands of children in our community. The students listed below participated in this community initiative and their work will serve our future students for years to come. Please help me in congratulating these students!
