We are working with the Pekin Bus Department to get bus routes set for the upcoming school year. We will have all routes/times posted on our website and social media prior to August 17th. Families can use the bus stop list to find the location that is closest to your address and that will be the bus your student rides the first few days of school. *Permanent bus passes will then be issued during the school day at a later date.
If the address is less than the 1.5 mile cutoff from the school, your student will not qualify for a bus pass. You may go to the BFO and purchase a pass for $30 (a semester) fee. If you have any questions you can email the BFO at awalker@pekinhigh.net

Today is the LAST paperwork turn in day from 8 AM - 11 AM.
Freshmen parents need to bring the following to the Principal's office- 1. Copy of certified birth certificate 2. Dental Exam 3. Physical 4. Updated immunization Records (including Tdap, 2 Varicella, and Meningococcal) 5. Custody paperwork (1 school form and any applicable documentation) 6. Residency paperwork (4 total forms): ∙ ONE copy of mortgage bill, title, taxes or lease agreement. This MUST have a parent/guardian’s name on it. If the parent does not own, rent, or lease, then the “Landlord in Lieu of Lease” or “Living with District Resident” form must be completed. ∙ You ALSO need to bring THREE copies of bills that you have received in the mail that have the parent/guardian’s name and current address. THE REST OF 9TH GRADE REGISTRATION IS ONLINE. 9TH GRADERS CANNOT BEGIN SCHOOL UNTIL ALL OF THE FORMS ABOVE HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.

9th Grade Registration is 4-7 pm today and 8-11 am tomorrow at the Canopy Entrance. A huge thank you to Blue Cross Blue Shield, Familia Dental, and the Tazewell County Health Department to provide all required medical & dental services for our students! #Dragonpride

Based on Governor Prtizker's Executive Order announced today requiring that masks be worn indoors by all teachers, staff, students and visitors to K-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status anyone indoors at Pekin Community High School will be required to wear a mask effective immediately. Please know that our PCHS Family is doing everything we can to make this year the best school year yet! We will share out additional details to our families after taking time to thoroughly review the IDPH / ISBE updated guidelines. Thank you for your understanding.

In Person Registration is August 5th from 4-7 PM. and August 6th from 8 - 11 AM at the canopy entrance. All freshmen paperwork must be turned in. Senior MCV shots must be uploaded or turned in. We highly encourage you to register online https://www.pekinhigh.net/page/registration-info so you do not need to attend in person registration.

Just a reminder: As an incentive, students who have completed online registration and turned in all required paperwork by August 6th, will have their schedules released early via skyward at 4:30pm on August 11th.
