Yearbook did it again! The 2018-19 yearbook was chosen to be in the Herff Jones Portfolio book. The odds of making it into the Portfolio book are 1 in 675 nation wide. Just a reminder: Seniors who qualify to walk in graduation, must have all fees paid by May 1st, 2020 in order to be able to walk in the graduation ceremony.

We are excited to announce this week's winners of the "Flying the P" award! This week we will be honoring our speech team members who are headed to Sectionals after their 2nd place finish in Team Sweepstakes at the IHSA Regional Speech Tournament held at PCHS last weekend. In order to qualify for sectionals, each student needed to place 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th in their event. I am happy to announce that out of the14 possible events Pekin qualified ALL 14, which is a feat only 12 schools in the state of Illinois accomplished. Please help us in congratulating these students and wish them luck as they head to Washington High School this weekend to complete in the IHSA Sectional Speech Tournament. Go S'Pekin Dragons!
