Dragon Pride moment! Congratulations to the Brass Ensemble (Sarah Arseneau, Norah Springborn, Sean Hyde, & Kaleb Davis) from our PCHS Band who performed at the July 4th Honor America Celebration at Memorial Stadium. They sounded incredible in front of thousands of people and made Pekin proud!

Last week, the S'Pekin Dragons competed at the Online National Speech & Debate Association Tournament. We had four students participate in a wide range of events (some that they were familiar with and some that were brand new!) and ALL FOUR made in through the preliminary rounds and advanced into the elimination rounds. Here were the results:

GOOD NEWS…The IDPH released new guidance regarding masks and athletics. Anyone who is “fully vaccinated” no longer needs to wear a mask for any sport (including games, practices, and being on the bench).
Any PCHS athletes who wish to take advantage of this guidance will need to provide their completed Covid vaccination card to the CTE "Holman Center" entrance for our files. Summer hours are 7:30-4:00 M-Th (Closed Fridays).


Attention Graduates!
Beginning Tuesday, June 15th to Thursday July 29th between 7:30am and 4:00pm your diploma will be available for pick-up in the Holman Center Office. Starting Monday, August 2nd they can be picked up in the Principal’s office. Please remember diplomas MUST be picked up by the graduate or the graduate MUST contact the Principal's Office ahead of time to let them know they have authorized someone else to pick up their diploma. The following items must be paid in order to receive your diploma.
All fees must be paid
Student Chromebooks must be purchased or returned
All school textbooks and library books must be returned
A Borrowed Cap and Gown must be returned
