Bruning’s Foods 1 class applied etiquette practices by enjoying a Thanksgiving Feast. Interior Design students practiced green design by recovering stool seats. Survey of FACS focused on an area of interest by making dioramas, stockings, bridal shower mood boards or toddler toys.





Government/civics students simulated a full legislative session. A chief executive signed and vetoed bills for checks and balances. The students displayed amazing citizenship today!

PCHS is proud to announce that one of our own, is the 2021 Illinois Council for Exceptional Children Clarissa Hug Teacher of the year. The Teacher of the Year award is named after Clarissa Hug, a former ICEC member who served as a homebound teacher for 50 years in the Chicago Public Schools system.
The ICEC Clarissa Hug Teacher of the Year Award is the most prestigious honor bestowed on a teacher of students with exceptional needs from the State of Illinois.
