Pekin's very own Cole Stoner has been approved as next Athletic Director at PCHS. A 2006 graduate of PCHS, Cole returned to coach and teach at PCHS for the past 11 years. "Cole epitomizes the best of Pekin and his diverse coaching experience and his positive influence with students and adults alike make him a perfect fit for our athletic department. We are excited to have him in this role moving forward!" says Dr. Owens.

Bruning’s Foods 1 sharpened their knife skills when making salsa. They went back in the lab to experience using the broiler and blender by making pizza snacks and smoothies.

Students with an interest in agriculture had a great opportunity today to tour Joliet Junior College. Hands on labs and practicums were an emphasis throughout the day including: Drone Demos, Soil Mapping, Bio-Diesel Creation, Greenhouse Usage, Animal Evaluation, and Parasite ID via Microscope

Ag Club was very busy this evening! The Food Science and Veterinary Science teams competed this evening at Midland. The Food Science team placed 3rd as a team and our top 10 individuals: Austin Piro 4th, Gabby Thomas 7th, Blayne Thomas 9th, Mason Glasford 10th.
The Veterinary Science team placed 2nd as a team and our top 10 individuals: Austin Bernath 4th, Bre Parsons 6th, Trey Garmon 7th, Levi Magee 10th. Great job!
