Reminder to sign up for the Counseling Office college field trip to Western Illinois University and Monmouth College on Thursday, April 21st! This trip is for juniors only and lunch will be provided. You need a minimum 2.5 GPA to attend. Come see Mrs. Coon in the Counseling Office to pick up a permission slip. The first 40 students to turn in their forms get to go on the trip! Deadline to sign up is April 7th.
Today's Girls Track meet at Peoria Notre Dame has been CANCELLED due to inclement weather conditions. No makeup date has been set. #DragonPride
Our varsity and sophomore softball games against Brimfield (from March 19th) have been rescheduled to March 30th AT HOME. Varsity will start at 4:30pm, and the sophomore game will follow at approx 6pm on the varsity field. #DragonPride
Today's freshman baseball game at Farmington has been POSTPONED and RESCHEDULED to Friday, March 25th (same location and time). #DragonPride

In December, you helped the PCHS Environmental Club raise enough money to buy 250 saplings of Sugar Maple, Pin Oak and/or Eastern Redbud to offset our paper usage at PCHS. This is the equivalent of nearly 2.5 million sheets of paper that we can offset by planting these trees in our community and nurturing their growth!!

The saplings will be available for pick-up on April 23 as we celebrate Earth Day Weekend with a tree-planting EXTRAVAGANZA.
The deadline to order saplings is Thursday, March 31.

Back in the lab this week, Bruning’s Foods 1 class made fruit pizza for the fruit unit. Foods 2 made oatmeal to finish up the grain unit and chicken noodle soup to start the meat unit. Intro to Culinary Arts used several cooking techniques to make yummy breakfast burritos.
