Zoology student of the day is junior David Hartwell.David created a California Sea Lion out of milk jugs. Sea lions get caught in nets and get fishing line wrapped around their flippers. They also ingest plastics as well as eat fish that contain microplastics.


The scholastic bowl team traveled to Lincoln Saturday. Both A and B teams had a record of 5-3 for the day. Michael Weydert received an award for Top Ten individuals in toss ups scored.



Zoology student of the day is junior Ryder Shaw.Ryder used an old pool noodle,cookie tray,bottles,&an old tarp to create garden eels he saw at the Shedd Aquarium. Garden Eels consume benthic organism that contain microplastics.
