The amazing watercolor landscapes made by PCHS Painting Students are now on view at Mashies here in Pekin.



Check at the new artwork displayed at Leaves N Beans here in Pekin. The 2D Art students put an amazing amount of effort into these abstract self portraits.


Painting students have been working hard at paining like the Italian Renaissance Artists with their Grisaille Paintings. They started out with a black and white painting and added transparent glazes of color over the top.

Pekin FFA held their officer elections at last night's meeting. Congrats to the following students on getting elected to the Pekin FFA Officer Team for next school year!

Students in the semester long Manufacturing Tech get an introduction to forging, welding, lathes and sheet metal. They also get a chance at basic metal shop practices which includes using the drill press correctly. #DragonPride

Congratulations to Olivia Kula for receiving this award for being one of the top women in chemistry at the high school level. This is a well deserved honor.

Next Saturday, April 1st, is our annual egg hunt. You are welcome to bring your kids, 10 years old and under. The hunt is free. We are asking for pre-registration to get a feel for preparation. We would love to see you and all your little ones.

Bruning's Intro to Culinary have been delivering treats and making restaurant quality food. They delivered strawberry shortcake to the principal's office staff and Clayton was a happy recipient. They made homemade Mac and cheese and chicken wings for our American Bistro unit.
