Wrapped up our day in Chicago with a walking tour of its incredible sculptures—admiring public art up close! From towering masterpieces to hidden gems, our art students found plenty of inspiration. Now, back on the bus, heading home with new ideas and sketches







Spent Wednesday cruising the Chicago River with PCHS Art students, exploring the city’s stunning architecture! From historic skyscrapers to modern marvels, we soaked in the design, perspective, and inspiration.

Today the PCHS Life Skills Transition classes spent time learning about how to access and advocate for adult services, taught by Thane Hunt, from Advocates for Access. Then, they went out to lunch!

9-11th grade students will be testing tomorrow at PCHS. All students should bring a FULLY CHARGED Chromebook. Seniors do not attend. Juniors without accommodations will dismiss at 12:28 and freshmen/sophomores will dismiss at 11:32. Good luck to all of our students!

Pekin FFA and Advanced Animal Science class had an exciting last week! Pekin FFA placed first in the Envirothon, and the Advanced Animal Science class traveled to the Fairview Livestock Auction Barn to complete their livestock marketing lab!

Shark week came early in Zoology! 🦈Students got up close and personal with dogfish sharks during our dissection—some even found baby sharks inside!
