Bio 3 students are conducting their first investigation by dissecting owl pellets. Students will analyze their contents and identify trends in the feeding habits of barn owls as part of the population ecology unit.

Pekin’s Girls' tennis team had an amazing match against Jacksonville yesterday! We won many of our matches!



The Board of Education recognized and thanked the PCHS Athletic Boosters Club that raised $183,000 last year alone to support all of our Dragon athletes across all sports!!! Time volunteered, concessions bought, and Dragon Cards sold all benefit our Dragons!!! Amazing Work!!!

Landen and Curtis are in Mrs. Clark’s Science 110 class! Landen and Curtis earned a Science Shout-Out for extending a helping hand to their peers in and out of the classroom! Landen’s favorite thing about science is all of the hands-on learning that takes place! Curtis loves all of the research that happens in science! Landen and Curtis love being PCHS Dragons because of the different classes and opportunities offered!


Chemistry students first did a scavenger hunt to identify common lab equipment to make electronic flash cards. They then used them to play Bingo. Here are the 3rd hour winners!



Physics 1 students learn how to write a procedure to how to build a paper airplane. They made 3 designs to see which one went the furthest.



On Friday, Mrs. Clark’s Science of Food & Nutrition class set up the hydroponic towers to prepare for farm-to-table labs this semester!

The competition is on in the PCHS math world. Students learned about their groups by finding common interests and using those to build the tallest freestanding tower!

It was a muggy day at Maxwell Park for Cross Country but the Dragons were paced by Devon Hayes's 16th place finish on the boys side and Morgan Coker's 19th place finish for the girls. #KeepOnGoing

The Lady Dragon golfers had a solid day today at the Central Catholic Golf Tournament. They shot a 362 which put the. in 4th place out of 14 teams. Sydney 2nd (76) Kami 8th (81) led the Dragons! #FireUp
