
After a beautiful 80 degree start to the night, the coed home track meet vs Dunlap and the soccer match against Washington were stopped due to weather. The soccer match will be made up at a later date. #LightningTurnedOffTheLights #Dragons

Close Up students had a wonderful end to their trip. Their last day included visits to DC neighborhoods, Arlington National Cemetery, and the Air Force Memorial.





Amazing day in Bruning's classes! Foods 1 used the microwaves to make quick caramel rolls. Survey of FACS students finished our culinary unit with a baked potato bar for a buffet experience.




Location Change: The egg hunt will now be inside our gyms due to the inclement weather forecast for Friday into Saturday. Families should enter at the pillar/circle drive entrance to check-in. Please note that registration is over for this event.

Science 430 students experimented with an Aerogarden hydroponic kit. The water, temperature, and fertilizer conditions were perfect for the tomato seeds to sprout in just 5 days!



Mrs. Boerma's students compared and contrasted a variety of vegetables with the University of Illinois Extension instructors, Ms Jones and Ms. Beekman.

Close Up students met with Senate staff and Congressman Lahood before seeing the House in session, visiting the Holocaust Museum, and seeing a play at the Kennedy Center.
