April is Organ Donation Awareness Month. NHS students ran a booth to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation and how to become a donor. They also advertised the Kevin Krigbaum fundraiser.

A fresh art exhibit is up at Leaves 'N Beans today. These beautiful digital photographs and acrylic paintings will be up for the next month for your viewing pleasure!


Congratulations to PCHS junior Isabella Ghidina for receiving the Bausch & Lomb award. This award is given to the top junior in science at area high schools.


Ceramic students try their hand at using a variety of materials to help them glaze their projects. Techniques include using soap, rubbing alcohol, watercolors, shaving cream, sponges, and more to make different designs.


Despite the weather the Mid Illini Art show is still going on if you can make it out it is from 5-7

3D Art students are becoming master artists using a hammer and chisel to carve plaster into a sculpture.


Survey of FACS students are busy working on individual projects. They chose an interior design diorama, a bridal shower plan, a machine sewing project or a child development book. Can't wait to see results.


Don't forget to come support the PCHS Art students who received awards at the closing reception from 5-7pm at the Contemporary Art Center on 305 Southwest Water Street in Peoria. There will be food and drinks available long side amazing artworks made by high school students.


This evening, the AAUW honored the female students who have earned a 4.0 GPA. They also awarded this year's AAUW scholarship to Jenna Jones. Congratulations! The future for these students is so bright!
