Yesterday the Advanced Animal Science students had the opportunity to tour Earlybird Feed & Fertilizer. We are excited to announce this edition of the Flying the P award. Over the past several weeks, PCHS Student Council has been raising money in support of the Easterseals organization. Easterseals Central Illinois provides exceptional services to ensure that children with developmental delays, disabilities, and other special needs can reach their full potential. Last year, Student Council had a record donation to Easterseals of just over $17,000, but they blew that record away this year and hit a magical mark! This year, Student Council sold a record 2,500 shirts and raised $22,701 to donate directly to Easterseals. Over the past 14 years, PCHS Student Council has raised over $170,000! We will be honoring our Student Council Executive Board members. Over the past few weeks, they filled Blackout shirt orders during their 5th hour lunch and advisories for our faculty and staff and each of our junior highs. They each worked several lunch booths to sell shirts to the student body and trained our new representatives in how to work lunch booths. They also hosted our Easterseals ambassadors and representatives on the field during our September 8th Blackout game versus Dunlap. Please join us in congratulating these students on a job very well done on the 2023 Blackout campaign! You have represented PCHS with pride! You inspire others every day and are a great example of The Dragon Way! Please join us in congratulating this group for receiving this edition of the Flying the P award.
