
Bruning's Foods 1 students used the lab for the first time today to make Rice Krispie Treats.


Future Focus Day #2 is rescheduled to Tuesday, January 30th. Tomorrow, January 23rd will be a regularly scheduled day of school.


The Dragon Cafe meal for 1/23 has been rescheduled to this Wednesday, 1/24. Calzones, Caesar, and strawberry-lemon shortcake are still on the menu. Email dragoncafe@pekinhigh.net for a reservation.

Mrs. Clark's Science of Food and Nutrition class investigated the Maillard Reaction in pancakes by observing how the aroma and flavor changed!


It was an amazing day for the S’Pekin Dragons with a historic showing at the Downer’s Grove South Varsity Invitational! Alina Vang — tournament CHAMPION in Extemporaneous Speaking and placed 6th in Original Oratory. Abby Frye and Jayohna Riley — 3rd in Dramatic Duet Acting. Abby Frye — 5th in Prose Reading. Zach Webb and Rachel Filarski — 1st in the “Next In” final of Humorous Duet Acting. Mason Miller and Elizabeth Austin —3rd in the “Next In” final of Humorous Duet Acting. And that’s not all! We also had 12 semi-finalists today!


Come out at 7:00 TONIGHT to see all of these talented Noteables and the Junior High Noteables Festival Chorus on the PCHS stage! They have had an AWESOME day preparing the show for you tonight!!! 🎶🎵
