This week several Pekin FFA officers had the opportunity to meet with State Senator Sally Turner and her Agriculture Advisory Committee. They discussed current agriculture topics/issues occurring in the state.

Tomorrow is the first day to drop off freshmen and senior paperwork, 12-3 at the Holman Center (across from the stadium).

Pekin FFA had a busy week baling and loading almost 800 hay bales! Not a pleasant task to do but a great way to teach work ethic. Huge thanks to the Pekin Avantis Dome for allowing us to bale their field.

The Pekin FFA Officer Team spent the past couple days at Camp Skull-Bone Lodge in Missouri for their officer retreat. They spent several hours completing their Program of Activities (POA) for the school year and also participated in team building/bonding experiences.
