PCHS in conjunction with the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce would like to invite all parents and the public to our "School" After Hours Open House and Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, October 12th at 4pm. We would love to see you there to celebrate the amazing renovations and spaces at the school! Come and bring a friend! Please see the attached invitation for details. No RSVP required.
Student Council presents our Homecoming Dance for 2023, "Once Upon a Time!" The dance will be held in our cafeteria on Saturday, October 7th from 7-10 p.m.
Tickets are $10. Tickets are not sold at the door, so be sure to purchase your ticket prior to the day of the dance.
Ticketing will be completed online this year through GoFan. The QR code listed below will be live at 8 a.m. for those paying by credit or debit card. Your student ID number will be your purchasing code. If paying by cash, you can purchase your ticket at our Dragon Store, and you will receive a code to receive your ticket via GoFan.
The PowderPuff teams are ready to play! Come watch the fun Wednesday @6pm at the Stadium. Students wear your class colors and sit with your teams fire pit.

Homecoming Week is off to a great start! Students voted for Mr. Schmieg to lead them in a sing along at the pep rally on Friday! So far, sophomores and freshmen are tied in class points.
Credit Recovery has started off this week making great progress towards their goals! Keep up the good work!

Ms. Grube's daughter, Laura, and her roommate Maia visited the Biology 1A classroom to share information about their STEM majors in the Animal Sciences (pre-Vet) and Mechanical Engineering programs at the University of Illinois. They shared personal high school, college and life advice for students that led them to where they are today.
