PCHS Department Awards are a prestigious academic award that recognize one senior student from each department. The awards are voted on by each departments teaching staff to honor a senior who has excelled exceptionally in their respective content areas. Today we awarded the department awards to the following students:

Don't forget! Tonight is the annual dance show! It will only last an hour and you will be on your way home. The students will perform their original choreography that they have been working on for weeks. This is a fun, loud, upbeat show...nothing at all like a typical dance recital. We have a great DJ for the show too! Please come out and support our dancers!
With all of the AP testing going on now, Herr Holzwarth had to bid "Auf Wiedersehen!" to 5 of his 4th year German Seniors today. He gave them each a German "car" and they surprised him with some awesome gifts as well.
From Wicked costumes to tornado winds 🌪️🎭✈️⚓ our geography students explored it all at the Museum of Science and Industry last Monday with Ms. Cosentine and Ms. Dunn! From movie costumes and human anatomy to a real WWII submarine and aircraft, every exhibit was an adventure. Mrs. Dralle's Nutrition and Wellness students are leading each other in planned aerobic / anaerobic activities or exercise.
What a night to remember! Our Dragons took to the courts for Senior Night and came out with a massive sweep over East Peoria, with both Varsity and F/S securing the win! 🎾
A huge congratulations to our seniors, Trey and Braden! Thank you for your leadership and hard work! We are so proud of everything you've accomplished on and off the court.
