Happy holidays from PCHS. We hope all of our Dragons have a safe and restful break spending time with friends and family. School resumes for students on January 6th. Schedules will be final on January 5th at 2 PM.

Algebra 3A and Accelerated Math 3 students spent their last full day creating a summary presentation of concepts learned throughout the semester, giving advice for next year's students, and listing life and math skills that they will carry with them beyond the course.

Thank you to Gypsy Rising Yoga in Pekin for their generous support to the PCHS Dragon’s Closet. Their “Warm Hearts Winter Drive” brought in $1575 along with a great assortment of hygiene items and winter clothing gear for our students. We appreciate you!

PCHS Attendance Matters! Our 1st MEGA prize winner for the 25-26' school year is Decarius Woods! Because of the generous donation by Mattress Doctor, he is 1 of 5 students who has been awarded a Full Size 2 piece Therapedic Plush Hybrid Gel Memory Foam Mattress and Amish Built Foundation set. Congratulations to him and way to go with having excellent school attendance!

Mrs. Gresham’s class took a holiday trip to the Heights and met Mayor Matt Wigginton!

Survey of FACS students completed projects in the curriculum that they wanted to explore- dioramas for Interior Design, machine sewn stuffed animals for Creative Fashions or bridal shower plans on boards for Relationships.

Thank you to the members of the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce for their incredible generosity! The PCHS Dragon’s Closet received over 200 Holiday Break Bags – each filled with healthy snacks, hygiene items, and a warm blanket to celebrate the end of a successful semester. We are so grateful for the Chamber’s support during the holidays and throughout the year!

Pekins Boys' Swimming and Diving took on two perennial powers in the Swim community, competing against Normal Community, Normal West, and Pontiac today. Pekin placed 3rd, only 4 points out of second place.
