Art students are enjoying making art on a college campus at WIU today. They are trying their hand at all sorts of new art forms throughout the studios.

4th hour Foods 1 did a great job making fruit pizza.
Interior Design students delivered more green design projects. Mrs. Hamilton and Mrs. Watts were the recipients 😊

The 37th House simulation finished their second round of committee hearings today. Next step: full session. We will see which bills make it to a full floor vote.
The teachers, aka the Senate, stepped up their game today as well.

We hope to recognize our Distinguished Alum(ni) at one of our home football games in the early fall. We are excited to continue celebrating our past graduates as a critical part of continuing to grow the Pekin pride for Pekin Community High School and our community.

Athletes MUST register on "Snap" AND have an updated physical on file PRIOR to tryouts/the first practice! If you have not registered and turned in an updated physical you will not be allowed to tryout/practice!
You need to register for each sport of the year! (Fall athletes should be certain they registered for their winter sport).
You will need a computer to complete registration, the mobile browser does not allow for all forms to be filled out!

Something boo-tiful happened today — our Little Dragons took over the Dragon Commons for some hauntingly sweet trick-or-treating! 👻🧡 Perks of having an onsite daycare: we get daily doses of adorable spookiness!
Interior Design students completed a green design project by taking a stool and redesigning it. Ms. Joyce and Mrs. Onken were the first to receive their new stools.
