Art students are learning to process wool to be used for future art projects. Earlier this year we used wool to felt small creatures. Today we are cleaning and carding wool that will be dyed next week.

PCHS will hold the Graduation Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2024 tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Memorial Stadium at 7:00 p.m. Please read the following reminders of protocols for an outdoor ceremony: There is no limit to the amount of spectators attending the ceremony. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and all spectators must enter through the Red Bud or Arena Parking entrances (visitors side of stadium.) The Arena parking lot and additional park lots are available for parking. (The Holman Center parking lot is reserved for faculty.) Stadium Drive will be closed @ Court Street and all traffic should enter through Stadium & Parkway or through Mineral Springs Park. Red Bud Drive will be closed for Handicap parking. Cars should enter from the park; you must have a handicap sticker/placard to access this lot. Graduates, band members, and choir members need to enter through the home side of the stadium. Graduates should be lined up behind the home side of the stadium no later than 6:30 p.m. If you cannot attend, the event will be live-streamed here: https://www.youtube.com/@pekincommunityhs/streams
