June, July, August Visit college campuses if you have not already made a decision. Apply to colleges (most prefer online applications) including personal essays Let your counselor know where you applied (so that transcripts / ACT scores may be sent)	September Attend PCHS Senior / Parent informational meeting Narrow to 3 - 5 schools Apply to colleges including personal essays Let your counselor know where you applied (so that transcripts / ACT scores may be sent) Meet will college reps if still uncertain of college choices Complete senior information sheet for letters of recommendation and to help fill out college applications	October Attend ICC college night if still uncertain of a college Meet with college reps Visit colleges Continue application process with counselor Research scholarship opportunities (in counselors office or online) 9 Week Exams - grades still very important (colleges look at final transcripts)
November Visit college open houses College applications should be complete and submitted to schools - remember to go through your counselor when submitting applications so that transcripts / ACT scores can be sent Continue to research scholarship opportunities - many websites available	December Attend PCHS Financial Aid Meeting Apply for PIN number for FAFSA Final exams	January Back to the books - remember grades still count Attend PCHS Financial Aid Workshop ("Filling out the FAFSA") Complete and submit FAFSA as soon after January 1 as possible
February Many local and area scholarships are announced this month. Listen for the PA announcements and check the Guidance Office window or the website. Make sure that you post the application by the deadline! Continue to research other scholarship opportunities	March ICC Quest Program (program for future ICC students who wish to transfer to a 4-year college) ICC placement test at PCHS You will be receiving letters of application / rejection throughout the spring - be sure to check online for the status of your application Return to your college or choice any declaration-of-intent forms, housing contracts and deposits, etc. Continue researching scholarship opportunities	April Receive financial aid acknowledgement letter Make final decision on school of choice Notify other schools that you will not be attending
	May Inform your counselor if you have received any scholarships Complete final transcript form Complete request for health records form in Nurse's Office Final exams Graduation
