PCHS ARTISTS RAISE over $2000.00 for Peoria Habitat for Humanity!!!!! Congratulations to PCHS Drawing Students who donated their time and creativity in December to develop 21 works of art sold at the Habitat for Humanity 2 X 4 Art and More auction this past weekend.  Special congratulations go to Emily Lowman as her work sold for $380.00 and Micaylan McDonald whose artwork sold for $1225.00 earning the highest bid of the night. 

Good luck tonight to the Lady Dragons!  Tonight is the final home game of the regular season against Dunlap!  The sophomore game is at 5:30 and the Varsity game is at 7:00 p.m.  Tonight is also senior night, so come and show support to Seniors Maddi Carr, Maddie Cordts, Michaela Quilty and Kelsi Rogers.  Good luck!

Congratulations to sophomore cody vicary  who qualified for wrestling sectionals in new lenox Lincoln way central this coming weekend by placing third in the Joliet central regional at 160 lbs.

Best of Luck to the PCHS Dance Team as they compete tomorrow at Dunlap High School IDTA Regionals.  Come out and support the team in both their Triple A Contemporary and Jazz routines.  Both senior members, Montana Jones and Abbey Steger will be competing in the solo division.  Competition starts at 10AM!  Hope to see you there. 

Good luck to the Speech Team as they travel to Olympia for the IHSA Sectional Tournament.  Next stop the the state tournament!  Let’s do this!!!

Latin Club congratulates “French Toast Mafia” a team consisting of Trevor Carson and  Tyler Wallace , who won Trivia Night in a tie-breaker question.  The second place team, “Four Grizzly Bears and a Rat Terrier consisted of  Ben Stuff, Dan McKenzie, Josh Peters, Mason Tennel, and Aaron Cope.  The third place team, “Vixen’s Sweet Mints” comprised of   Adam Himmel, Savannah Young, Robby Lange, Sara Conway, Mariah Weghorst.We would also like to congratulate the faculty winning team, The Fantastic Four, who won the adult division.  The Fantastic Four consisted of Mr. Holzwarth, Ms Chick, Ms Kahl, and Mr. Gscwend.

CONGRATULATIONS to the PCHS Show Choirs for their successful weekend at the Danville Competition last weekend.
Intuition took home BEST TECH CREW and 3rd runner up out of 8 competing unisex show choirs!
Noteables took home BEST BAND and 3rd runner up overall!!! Samantha Thomas received BEST SOLOIST in a show for the day and our student-lead dance team “Dance Break” took home GRAND CHAMPION of the day!
Congratulations and BEST OF LUCK to the show choirs as they travel to Keokuk, IOWA this weekend!
