The Pekin Community High School Board of Education met on Monday, 21 March 2011, in the Superintendent’s Office located in The Holman Career and Technical Education Building of Pekin Community High School, City of Pekin, County of Tazewell.

Call to Order

President Joe Alesandrini called the special meeting of the Board of Education to order at 5:00 p.m. Present were Members Joe Alesandrini, Ed Harr, Karen Hohimer, Larry Howard, Carl Johnson, and Paul O’Neal. Also present were Superintendent Paula Davis, Assistant Superintendent Tim Ruwe, Business Manager Carla Schaefer, Principal Mike Davis, Assistant Principal Melissa Bloom, Dean of Students Amy Hubner, Dean of Students Seth Mingus, and Recording Secretary Rick White. Absent was Member Eric Hill.

New Business

President Alesandrini made the request for closed session regarding student disciplinary cases.

Motion by O’Neal, Second by Hohimer to Adjourn to Closed Session.

Motion Passed by Voice Vote.

The Board adjourned to closed session at 5:01 p.m.

Adjournment

The special closed meeting was adjourned at 7:04 P.M.
