The State of Illinois requires that each school district post on its Internet website, by 01 October, an itemized salary compensation report for every employee in the district holding an administrative certificate and working in that capacity, including the superintendent. The report shall include without limitation base salary, bonuses, pension contributions, retirement increases, the cost of health insurance, the cost of life insurance, paid sick and vacation day payouts, annuities, and any other form of compensation or income paid on behalf of the employee.

Environmental Control Solutions, Inc. (ICSi) proposes to supply twelve monthly service inspections of the Automated Logic Corporation WebCTRL building automation system that serves Pekin Community High School for $1,408.00 per inspection to begin in October 2011.

The Close Up trip is annually sponsored by the Social Studies Department with Christina Kienitz as this year’s advisor. This is now a six-day, five-night program (25-30 March 2012) conducted in and around our nation’s capital which is open to any junior or senior. Board Policy 7:327 requires Board approval for any trip over 500 miles from Pekin.

- USE OF PCHS FACILITIES FOR JOINT INFORMATION CENTER – Paula Davis………………39-40
The local Public Information Officer Committee, a subcommittee of Homeland Security Region 10 which covers Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, Marshall, and Stark Counties, is seeking permission to renew its Agreement with the District to use facilities at PCHS as a backup site for a Joint Information Center [JIC] which notifies the media and public when a large disaster occurs and provides necessary instructions to the public as a result of such a disaster. The primary JIC in our area will be the Pekin Public Library.
RC – RECOMMEND BOARD APPROVAL TO RENEW THE DISTRICT’S AGREEMENT WITH THE LOCAL PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER COMMITTEE OF HOMELAND SECURITY REGION 10 ALLOWING IT TO USE FACILITIES AT PCHS AS A BACKUP SITE FOR A JOINT INFORMATION CENTER AS PRESENTED.

The Student Achievement Committee is scheduled on 22 September 2011 to consider an agreement between the District and Drs. John Closen, Lloyd Kilmer, and Jerry Valentine for an Instructional Practices Inventory (IPI) Level One Workshop at a date yet to be determined for a cost not to exceed $2,500.00 plus expenses.

- The IASB Central Illinois Valley Division Fall Dinner Meeting, “An Evening with Caterpillar Inc.,” featuring keynote speaker Ed Rapp, Group President and CFO of Caterpillar, is scheduled for Wednesday, 19 October 2011, at Cat’s Edwards Demonstration & Learning Center, Edwards, Illinois.
