Objectives:

To better understand the Civil Rights Movement.

To be able to explain the significant people, events, groups and actions of this period of U.S. History.  

Directions:

Each day you will be spending time researching various aspects of the Civil Rights Movement. For each item that is on that day's webpage, you are to answer the questions listed below it on your own sheet of paper after reading the related information that is linked to that item.

Day 1 will emphasize the important people of the movement.

Day 2 will focus on the historical events of the era.

Day 3 will then focus on the specific groups.

Day 4 will emphasize governmental actions during this time period.
