Dance Education
For more than 50 years PCHS students have had the opportunity to take Dance in Physcial Education. It is currently a 3 year course and counts as a Physical Education credit. This Course is offered only to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
Equipped with 2 "State of the Art" Dance Studios, with raised wood floors and mirrored walls, students study extensively from their instructors Modern, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Composition. Other areas of dance taught are social dances.
The Physical Education and Cultural Studies Departments offer various extra curricular programs requiring a dance audition.These programs are...Pom/Dance Team, Cheerleading, Color Guard, Intuition and Noteables.
