Mr. Deiss’ team won the overall championship for the Mid-Illini Auto Competition.

Mr. Deiss did another 3-peat winning the competition. The first in 2010, 2011, and 2012 and then now  2014, 2015, 2016.

In the last 7 years he has won the competition all but 2013 where they placed 2nd.

Please congratulate Mr Deiss and his team on a very impressive job well done!


-Congratulations to Michaela Palka, this week’s Flag Rules winner, who was nominated by Mr. Miller for being prepared, engaged, and respectful in class.


-PCHS captured the 2016 Mid-Illini Conference Bass Fishing Tournament title this Friday at Banner Marsh.  The total catch weight was 12.75 lbs., good for first place.  Greg Ries and Ryan Ortega are our coaches and boat captains.The Bass Fishing team participates in the IHSA sectional tournament on Friday, April 22 at Evergreen Lake in hopes of advancing to the state tournament at Lake Carlyle, in S. Illinois.

-Congratulations to the following varsity softball players for making history on our  new softball field! Sam Mayberry was the first baserunner, Abby Potts had the first hit, Abbigail Worlow first RBI, double, and homerun. Alexus Mercer first triple and Brittney Spiesz first pitch, first pitching strikeout.
